I Live!!!
Hey guys. I'm not dead. I also didn't stop Weight Watchers. I just stopped losing weight for, oh, about 7 months now.
Bad Jess.
Whatever. 18 days until my wedding. I must admit, I was a little afraid to post again... I had some weird mental block about this blog for a while. I think it was the fact that this is a weight loss blog and I was not, in fact, losing anything at all.
But I am essentially the same weight. I got down to 197 and now I'm at 202. That's how weight gets you, though... one pound at a time. I'm not a huge fan of self-loathing, so here I am again, ready to be held accountable.
I am launching myself back into the loving arms of The Plan. Hello exercise and healthy eating, goodbye stomach aches and an empty wallet (when you live in Southern California and have access to *real* Mexican food [not Taco Bell] it is hard to resist the call of carne asada fries.)
As I type the sunscreen is drying on my face; I am preparing to go on the first walk I've been on in about two weeks.
My WW meeting on Saturday morning inspired me- habits aren't always something that form themselves. I will have to work on making a healthy, balanced lifestyle a habit. But hey, after a few weeks of forcing it, it comes naturally.
And I'll have fewer stomache aches.
Love, peace, and apples, folks. I'll be back again very soon.
