... And A New One's Just Begun

I weighed myself this morning in order to get my "official" weight lost for the year... 35.5 pounds lost in 2009. Woohoo!

I'm not one for resolutions. If I'm going to change my life, it will be because it's something I've thought long and hard about, not because of a day on the calander. That being said, there are some things I'd like to work toward for the year as a whole, not just until around February-ish (when a lot of people lose their resolve with a quick, drastic new year's resolution.)

My Current stats:
Weight: 199.5 pounds
Pants size: 16
Arms: 13.75 inches
Things: 26.2 inches
Bust: 41.0
Waist: 34.1 inches
Hips: 46.0 inches
BMI: 30.3 (obese)


My Goal stats for January 1, 2011:
Weight: 159.9 pounds
Pants size: 12? 10? Not sure at this weight....
I'm not gonna lie... I have no clue what my measurements will be at that weight.
BMI: 24.3 (normal)

So I have two truly measurable goals for the year, which is fine with me. According to WW, my average weight lost is .6 per week (wow... I really need to try harder. Ha!) - I will be very, very close to my ultimate goal for the year if I continue to half-ass the program as I did in 2009. If I put forth a liiiiittle more effort this year and become more consistent with my habit changes, this goal should be obtainable. Not easy, but yes, obtainable for sure.

Persistence, not perfection. Gotta remember it.

  1. You have some good goals. Also, .6lbs is a good loss...your heading in the right direction. It takes time to make lasting changes but you can do this.
